SAP ABAP Consultant

Work Location: Remote or Hybrid (depending on the project)

Contract Type: Contractor (CLT)

Project Duration: Long-term

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs for SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Analyze technical requirements based on functional specifications.
• Develop and support reports, interfaces, enhancements, SmartForms, User Exits, BAPIs, BADIs, and other ABAP components.
• Collaborate with functional teams during integration and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure performance, quality, and adherence to SAP development best practices.
• Participate in technical meetings and support development effort estimations.

Requirements:

• Solid hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of core SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, etc.
• Proficiency in ALV, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, SmartForms, Reports, and Interfaces (IDOC/ALE, RFC, Proxy).
• Previous experience with S/4HANA migration projects is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Fiori/UI5 and CDS Views.
• Knowledge of ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
