Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Electrical Engineer – Mid/Senior Level to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte – MG office.

About The Role

• The professional will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and planning activities related to electrical design focused on the mining, steel, and oil & gas industries. Strong communication skills are essential to facilitate interaction with other engineering disciplines in project development.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering;
• 5 to 10 years of experience in similar roles;
• Knowledge of low and high-voltage electrical systems;
• Experience in short-circuit calculation, selectivity, and protection coordination;
• Development and interpretation of single-line, three-line, and functional diagrams;
• Design and interpretation of substation layouts with primary voltage up to 138kV;
• Development and interpretation of transmission and distribution network projects with voltage up to 138kV;
• Preparation of data sheets and technical specifications for purchasing low and high-voltage electrical equipment;
• Experience with cable, transformer, grounding system, and lightning protection system (SPDA) sizing;
• Ability to diagnose problems, interpret data, and propose efficient solutions;
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams;
• Preparation of reports, technical specifications, and presentation of solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Advanced English;
• Intermediate Spanish is a plus.
